HOW LONG WILL PORTRAITS TAKE?

"Portraits" include: Bride & Groom / Bridal Party / Family.

Don't worry. It's the photographer's job to make clear what is realistic and practical for shooting in multiple locations on the wedding day. 

1. HOW LARGE IS YOUR WEDDING VENUE? 

As a general rule we try to keep the amount of portrait locations down to three. Therefore, if you want multiple locations for portraits then it's helpful for us to consider how long it might take to get from one location to another. 


2. HOW LONG WILL PORTRAITS TAKE?

 

Full Bridal Party Shot - 15 minutes
Includes: Bride & Groom / Bridesmaids / Groomsmen
Recommended: Before ceremony with First Look or after Family portraits.

Family - 15 minutes
Includes: Bride, Groom, and immediate family members.
Recommended: Right after ceremony.

Bride & Groom - 25 minutes
Recommended: During First Look or post-ceremony after Family portraits.

Bride & Bridesmaids - 20 minutes
Recommended: Before ceremony one hour before guests arrive.

Groom & Groomsmen - 15 minutes
Recommended: Before ceremony one hour before guests arrive.

First Look - 5 Minutes
Includes: Bride & Groom and/or Bride & Dad
Recommended: Before ceremony 1 hour before guests arrive.

Individual Bridal Portraits
Since these are taken during other portraits you need not worry about setting aside a specific time to do these!
