Posing Couples: Simple Advice for Beginners

Hey friends! Many of us who are starting out in wedding photography have a common issue: posing couples. The most common issue I've seen, which is also the context in which my tips are being shared, is the nervousness and anxiety we feel when we first begin posing people. 

Here are some simple tips to use as you begin to learn how to pose couples. These are practices I've utilized over the years to help me gain the confidence I needed to pose and direct well. Watch the video to see how I explain each tip!

2. Watch how other photographers pose people, and adapt.

3. Have pose ideas and references on your phone.
